Belmont Engineered Plastics is a growing plastic injection molding company looking to expand with new full-time team members on 2nd shift (2:00PM – 10:00PM)! We’re looking for individuals that want to continue learning and growing with our company.
The Quality Auditor will be responsible for assisting operations by making sure that parts and process flows are maintained to meet Belmont Engineered Plastics’ quality standards, while maintaining production rates. The primary responsibility is to produce and deliver quality parts on time for internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Assist in determining that parts meet Customer Requirements
- Perform quality audits in each work cell multiple times per shift.
- Participate in the first piece process
- Advice shift supervisor of quality issues with parts
- Perform gaging per Customer Requirements and record results.
- Write reaction plans when part does not meet Customer Requirements.
- Perform visual checks on parts placed on retain racks
- Write deviations
- Quarantine product and place on NCM
- Communicate with superiors, subordinates, and others.
- Complete quality transactions needed for daily production.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Proficient in problem solving to root cause.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills which may include IQMS, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, ability to look up standards and procedures, and complete training via the computer.
- At least one year of plastic injection molding preferred.
